Most probably did not hear the interview conducted with a Mexican Citizen and a CNN reporter prior to the enormous storm forecasted to land ashore.
His response was very important. When asked would he be evacuating as ordered he replied, "No!"
He had lived there his entire life, had experienced many storms, had a safe place that his family had gathered to, had provisions that did not require cooking, warm blankets, and plenty of water.
Why not leave?
"The media is always making everything seem like an emergency!"
He has caught on and it is an important warning to all of us.
There seems to be the need to have an emergency of the week. Everyone is constantly being placed on the alert about some impending disaster.
Perhaps this is being used to distract us from important issues or as a form of entertainment. Either prospect is not a positive development!
Remember the story "The Boy Who Cried Wolf."
When a true emergency does take place people will be so desensitized that they will no longer respond.
Is that the ultimate goal?
Is the motivation of the MSM in our best interest? We had better Think Twice!
