Before It's News Featured News

The whole world has become totally corrupt.  Because of this judgment is coming.  And when we combine world events with end times prophecy, we can clearly see when the inflection point will be reached, and it is now only a few days away.  And yes, I know the scripture that says “no man knows the day or hour”.  Neither do I know the day or hour, and that’s because GMT was not used in Jesus’ time.  Right now it is one day somewhere in the world and another day somewhere else.   It is noon somewhere and midnight somewhere else.   So unless a location is specified, how could we know the day or hour even if it was told to us.  The Final Judgment is a world event, it will affect every nation, language, tribe, and people.  Not just Israel or the USA, or any other country, but the whole world.  That’s why we don’t know the day or hour, but here’s what we do know and from that we can get pretty close to the date it will happen.

The world has only one problem:  We have turned our back on God.  And some greedy selfish men want to own everything and control the masses for their own benefit.  The biggest problem facing the world now is the economy.   It has been sputtering along for several years now and is running out of steam.  Debt has skyrocketed throughout the world.  This simply cannot go on.  There will have to be a major crash.  Because most of us have never lived through one, we have no idea how devastating it will be or how long it will last.  But many experts are predicting one of the worse and longest depressions the world has ever known.  The Bible says it will get so bad that it will take a days wages just to buy a few loaves of bread.  The next biggest threat we have to face is war.  Tensions are ramping up between the major powers and smaller countries as well.  How long can this be prolonged before it erupts into a major conflict.  And when it does, will they use nuclear weapons?  How many countries will be drawn into the war.   The Bible says there will be a huge war in which one third of mankind will be killed.  The third biggest threat we face is from our governments.  Are they working for the people or for the banks and corporations.  What is their motive and agenda?  Are they helping the banks gain control over the world or are they fighting for the rights of the citizens.  Do the elite really want to own and control everything?   I believe they do.  The Bible says that for the last 3 ½ years of the Tribulation a ruthless leader will arise who will rule over the whole world.  When we tie all this together we can see how it all fits and why the Final Judgment is so near.   Now let’s look at God’s Calendar.

God works in 7 year cycles.  In Leviticus 25 God established these cycles with Israel.  They were to observe them and when they didn’t God intervened.  This is why they were taken captive to Babylon for 70 years:  they “owed” God 70 years of rest for the land.  The last year of the 7 year cycle is known as the Shemitah year.   We are in a Shemitah year now until Sept 13 at sundown Israel time.  Then a new 7 year cycle begins.  We also need to understand that mankind has been given 7,000 years on this earth.  There has been (approx) 4,000 years from creation to Jesus, 2,000 years from Jesus till now, and Jesus will establish his kingdom on earth for the final 1,000 years.  It is now year 5775 (based on geneology records, could be plus or minus).  Time is running out.

In Leviticus 23, God also gave Israel 7 yearly feasts or “divine appointments” that they were to keep.  These consisted of 3 spring feasts, one summer feast, and 3 fall feasts.  The spring feasts are Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits.   The summer feast is Feast of Weeks which later was changed to Pentecost, and the fall feasts are Feast of Trumpets, Day of Attonement, and Tabernacles.  Jesus already fulfilled the first 4 feasts.  He died on Passover, was in the grave on the Feast of Unleavened Bread and rose on Firstfruits.  On the Feast of Weeks, the Holy Spirit descended and the Church was born.   Because Jesus already fulfilled the first 4 feasts, what are the odds that he will fulfill the last 3 feasts?   I’d take it to the bank.

The next feast that Jesus will fulfill is the Feast of Trumpets.  It starts on Tishri 1 and ends on Tishri 2 which this year corresponds to Sept 13 at dusk until Sept 15 at dawn.  Tishri 1 starts when they see the sliver of the moon indicating the start of the new year.   But if it’s cloudy and they couldn’t see it, they couldn’t be sure they had the right day, so several years ago they decided to celebrate two days to make sure they didn’t miss it.  Hence, “no one knows the day or the hour”.  But God does because it’s never cloudy for him.    On the feast of trumpets, in Israel, they blow the trumpet with 3 different sounds, 33 times and then the last one is one very long blast.   Hence, when Paul wrote to the Thessalonians and Corinthians about the resurrection/rapture, they understood what he meant by “at the last trumpet”.

Jesus said if we watch for the signs we will know the time is near.  What signs was he talking about and what time would be near?  He gave an example of the fig tree getting leaves and we would know it’s almost summer.  In the same way, when we see total corruption and inhumanity on this earth and a threat of our imminent destruction, when man has lost control, we will know that it’s time for God to intervene.  Hence, the Final Judgment or Tribulation period followed by Jesus’ return to set up his kingdom for 1,000 years.

Jesus said he would come “like a thief in the night” (1 Thes 5).  And that destruction will come upon them and they will not escape.  Then he says “but you brothers are not in darkness that this day should surprise you like a thief”.   In other words, unbelievers don’t have a clue that judgment is coming, but those that read their Bibles know it.  Jesus said he would come at an hour when we least expect him.  (Matthew 24:44)  This is NOW because most people do not expect Jesus to come yet.   In Luke 21:34+ Jesus tells us to be careful or “that day will close upon you unexpectedly like a trap.  For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth.”    So we see that it will be suddenly and without warning.   I shouldn’t say without warning, because we have been warned many times, the trouble is that most people simply don’t believe it.  But….that doesn’t mean it won’t happen.

Very Important:  The Tribulation is a 7 year period.  Because it’s a 7 year cycle, it cannot interrupt another 7 year cycle.   Therefore, if the Tribulation does not start this Sept 13, then it can’t start for another 7 years.  So the question is this:  Will the Tribulation start this Sept or will we have to wait another 7 years?  Or should I say, Can the world wait another 7 years?

When we look at Luke 17.  Jesus gives us 2 examples of God’s previous judgments and then he says that the next judgment will be just like that.  The first one was “as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man.   For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage up until the time Noah entered the ark.   And they knew nothing of what would happen until the rains came and destroyed them all”.   Then he tells us about Sodom and Gomorrah and says that they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building right up to the time of God’s judgment on them.   In other words, in both cases, life was going on just like it is today.   Everyone was living like they thought tomorrow would be another day like yesterday, and suddenly, it changed forever.  Jesus said “so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man”.

So let’s summarize.   The world is in big trouble.  Man has lost control and it’s time for God to intervene.  But when?  God established 7 year cycles and 7 feasts or divine appointments that Israel was to observe.  This is God’s calendar.  Jesus fulfilled 4 of the 7 feasts already, therefore, he will also fulfill the next 3 as well.  The Feast of Trumpets is the next feast that he will fulfill.  This year it starts on Sept 13.  He told us to watch for the signs and we would know when the time is near.  Can the signs that the world is in trouble be more obvious?  The Tribulation is a 7 year period and it cannot start within another 7 year cycle.    Jesus gave us examples of how destruction would come suddenly, when we least expect it.  Jesus also said that people will be living normal day to day lives when he comes.  Considering all of this, can we wait another 7 years or is this it?

If we have to wait another 7 years and live through the worse economic disaster the world has ever seen, will we be living normal day to day lives then?  Will he come when we least expect him?  I think not.  Are the signs here?   Are we on the brink of economic collapse and war?  So from all this, do you think Jesus will come this September, or 7 years from now?  Looking at all the clues and comparing them to current world events, I am giving this September 95% odds and 7 years from now 5% odds.  I have to keep a small window open because there is no definite time given, we just have to consider all the possibilities from the information we have and make our decision from that.   And it’s better to be a year too early than a day too late, especially in this case where our eternal destiny depends on it.  The most important thing is this:   If the Tribulation does start this September, are you ready?   Have you made peace with God?  Or do you want to live through the most horrible 7 years ever?    Jesus said he would spare those that believe in him from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole earth (Rev 3:10).  Find out how you can be spared at ItsHisStory.com before it’s too late.   And NO, this is not fear mongering.   I write this to warn you because I know what a horrible 7 years the world will have to go through and I wish no one would have to go through it.  And you don’t have to go through it if you take this seriously and act NOW.  I pray you would.
