It appears as though the pre-Fox News Republican presidential debate anxiety has once again started for Donald Trump.
In an interview with Sean Hannity, Trump stated, “You’ve got some bad people at Fox.”
On Monday, Trump was reminded by Hannity how well he was doing in the polls. Trump then criticized his opponents by laughing at Rubio’s jokes about the size of Trump’s hands, and reiterating how he believes Cruz is a liar.
Trump also dismissed Hillary Clinton, claiming what she did with her emails was “so criminal” that he believes “she’s not going to be allowed to run.”
“The establishment seems panicked,” Hannity said and implied the GOP may throw Mitt Romney at Trump as a last-ditch effort to secure the nomination for the establishment.
Trump and Hannity both agreed Romney blew his chance at becoming president with his poor debate performances running for president in 2008
Trump then took aim at Karl Rove, who works as a political contributor for Fox. “You’ve got some bad people at Fox,” Trump said. “You’ve got some great people too, but you’ve got some bad people,” Trump said.
“Have you ever watched MSNBC?” Hannity asked and then added, “They suck.”
“I have great respect for Fox,” Trump said naming several shows he appreciates (Megyn Kelly’s The Kelly File show was not mentioned). “Stephen Hayes should not be on the show, he’s still biased. Karl Rove, he still thinks Romney won. He shouldn’t be on the air.”
Trump has promised to attend the Republican presidential debate hosted by Fox News March 3 that will be moderated by Kelly, among others. Western Journalism has reported on the constant feud between Kelly and Trump. Trump’s appearance on Hannity suggests reveals there’s still no love lost between the two.
