As I watched the Admiral Byrd interview I remembered a video I had seen having to do with a globe on the Dazes and Confused Movie, the globe has a very large land mass to the West of Australia that is located in line with Admiral Byrd's description. Please watch my first video showing this.
I then did a little digging to see what this land may have been or is.
