(N.Morgan) Nutritionists have long considered lemons to be a superfood with its numerous health benefits and nutritional value.

Lemons are a rich source of minerals and vitamins, including magnesium, calcium, folic acid, potassium, phosphorus, pectin, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and vitamin A.

If you suffer from chronic pain, a lemon peel may hold the relief you've been searching for.

Lemon is known to ward off many health disorders and diseases. It improves digestion, intestinal health, the immune system and the liver.

There is little doubt that lemon peel is one of the best remedies for chronic pain.

With the lemon peel's strong antiseptic properties it has been found that it can even treat fevers.

Here are 2 methods to using lemon peels to treat chronic pain.

Method#1

Take one lemon and grate the yellow layer of its skin. Rub the grated lemon peel over the painful spot with circular motions and leave them on the treated area. Wrap the painful area with gauze and leave it on for 2 hours.

Method#2

Take 2 middle-sized lemons and peel them. Put the peels in a glass jar and cover them with virgin olive oil. Fill the jar to the top. Close the jar and leave it for 2 weeks. Massage the painful parts of your body with this oil. Once you’re done with the massage, wrap the treated area with gauze. Leave the the gauze on overnight.
